- Apple iPads and TVs around the office - Your whole family is welcome here, especially the little ones. We have iPads and TVs available for your use and complimentary Wi-Fi so you can catch up on email.

Our highly trained orthodontic team believes that excellence is a goal that we should strive for every day in everything we do. We use only the best products available, and we pride ourselves in offering the latest in orthodontic technology to provide you with superior results:
- Digital Medical Records - Our entire database is securely stored in digital format. This means we can access your information easily at any time, even on the go. No more lost charts or missing x-rays. Need a copy of something for your dentist or a receipt for your insurance? No problem.
- Digital Radiography - Our diagnostic x-ray equipment emits ultra-low dose radiation. Unfortunately, many of our colleagues still use standard film-based machines which emit significantly more radiation per exposure.
- Precision Bracket Placement - Believe it or not, there are some practices that allow assistants to put braces on. Here, Dr. Newell places each bracket on every patient to ensure proper positioning and accuracy - just another part of achieving excellent results.
- Highest Quality Brackets and Wires - We believe in using only the highest quality appliances available. Other systems cost less, may be recycled and have lower manufacturing tolerances. We use only the best stuff, and yeah, it costs a little more.
- No Bands on Molars - Nobody likes those rings that go around your back teeth. Whenever possible, we place brackets on all of your teeth instead. It's faster and more comfortable for you.
- No Headgear - With today's technology, there are faster and easier ways of correcting overbites. No crazy contraptions that make you feel self-conscious about your appearance. Leave that Ugly Betty costume for Halloween.
- Sterilization - Our instrument sterilization protocols eliminate the possibility of cross-contamination and ensure that only clean instruments are used, each and every time. Our family members are patients here too, and we place the highest priority on everyone's safety.
- We Care About Oral Hygiene - Straight teeth are useless if they aren't healthy. We evaluate our patients' brushing and flossing techniques at each visit to ensure that they are caring for their teeth and gums. Do a good job, and we'll reward you for it!
- Soft Tissue Laser - One of the most artistic components to a beautiful smile is the shape of the gum tissue around the teeth. Dr. Newell has a painless laser that he uses, if necessary, to sculpt gum tissue at the end of treatment.
- Enamel Polishing - After braces are removed, Dr. Newell personally removes all of the glue from the teeth, using brand new finishing burs and polishing tips for each patient. Some offices neglect this polishing step altogether or use dull burs which can leave "scars" on the enamel.
- Fixed Retainers - Dr. Newell offers fixed retainers behind the teeth to ensure that they stay straight long after the braces are removed. Sure, it takes a few extra minutes, but it also protects your investment, which is important to us.
- Emergency Contact Line - You can reach us any time you need us. Our system will page us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No worries...we're here for you.
